Customer Support Engineer

Description

Bastille is looking for a Customer Support Engineer to join the product team. We are looking for pragmatic individuals who want to work in an agile environment and help support a product for applying data analytics to Internet of Things (IoT) and Radio Frequency/wireless data. Candidates would work with a highly collaborative, startup engineering team.

Responsibilities / Role

  • Interact with customers

  • Troubleshoot customer support requests

  • Escalate incidents, where appropriate

  • Track customer support requests to resolution

Requirements

  • Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, Debian preferred)

  • Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics

  • Experience navigating system logs, in tools such as Kibana or Splunk

  • Experience working in an agile software development environment/process

  • Pragmatic, collaborative and resourceful

  • Manages pressure and willing to be on-call for support
